This weekend saw PLAY take Bridgerton on a tour of the towns as Netflix cordially invited some lucky golden ticket holders to the glittering premiere of the most talked-about drama of the year.

Our cup did runneth OVER with scandal and drama as we hit Manchester, Birmingham and London to dish out Lady Whistledown’s gossip soaked papers.

Handed out to passers-by, by costume-clad Regency newspaper sellers, they were accompanied by a string quartet playing hits from the banging Bridgerton soundtrack.

The society papers, made famous by the global smash hit series, each contained a special golden ticket inviting people to apply for a chance to win a ticket along with a guest to the World Premiere of Bridgerton Season 2 at the Tate Modern, London, 22 March.

‘Twas certainly the season for coverage, as the team bagged a glut of features in national and regional press, including Timeout, The Evening Standard and The Sun.

FYI, this is now a Bridgerton stan account.
