The UK’s #1 gin subscription service has appointed PLAY following a four-way competitive pitch.
Craft Gin Club, which delivers “gin and more to your door”, has tasked the one-year-old agency with taking charge of the press office, media relations, talent, and influencer strategy.
The fledgling subscription service, famed for using Philip Schofield as a brand ambassador, has become the dominant voice in the gin-loving community.
PLAY’s brief also includes responsibility for delivering against key calendar moments, promoting new product ranges, and the pivotal 2021 Christmas campaign.
PLAY’s Founder Rowan Adams said:
“This is a massive brand brief and is exactly what gets PLAY out of bed in the morning. Craft Gin Club is an agile, fast-growing business, who is ready to turn up the dial. I am over the moon they have put their faith in us.”
Catherine Katsarou, Head of Brand & Communications for Craft Gin Club commented:
“We’re really excited to be working with PLAY. Their fresh approach to PR and their insightful understanding of our audiences really appealed to us. We can’t wait to see what the next 12 months will hold.”
The account will be led by Adams and Account Director Leigh-Anne Leonce.
Last week PLAY picked up two further retained wins, Hoo and ZYN.
PLAY’s client roster includes Moonpig, Ciate, and Pioneer Pro Audio.
